about
Standing out as one of the most
respected and nationally recognized Hardcore/Punk groups to emerge from the streets and stages
and streets of New York in decades, Rebelmatic releases another vibey hard-rocking anthem
that falls neatly in their growing list of tunes fans gleefully sing along with at shows.
Few bands in the pantheon of Black Rock Gods can boast that they have been lauded by
everyone from Bad Brains to David Byrne, and recorded with legends like Angelo Moore. The
boys from Brooklyn have accomplished this and much more. On the heels of their critically
acclaimed 2020 album Ghost In The Shadows and 2022 release Mourning Dove, the new
single pushes things up a few notches pushing them further into the territory of iconic NYC
rock bands.
The single helps pave the way for their upcoming Southern tour with revered rockers,
Weedeater. The opening line of the new tune may boast “I don’t need no therapist....” but
crowds getting a dose of these New York titans on the road just might when the stage is empty,
the lights come on and the crowd is thirsty for more.
I don't need no Therapist
I know Columbus was a Terrorist
Shut up, Don't want to hear your politics
Sing a song make us Happy
Too old to die, young.
No hair on my Tongue
Ohhh, Ooo
Too old to die young
No hair on my Tongue
Ohh, Oooo
Ohhh, Oooo
The World ends this the aftermath
Bathe in any armageddon bubble bath
Shut up! you don't get paid to laugh
Sing a song Make us Angry
Too Old to Die, Young,
No hair on my Tongue
Oohhh, Oooo
Ohh, OOOo
Too Old Die Young
No Hair on my Tongue
Ohh, Oooo
Ohhh, Ooo

The album is composed of the rawest, heaviest, heart-pounding and gut-wrenchingly groovy material to ever come out of NYC.
Branching out in new directions from their previous hip hop influenced sound, Rebelmatic has evolved into a hybrid of punk, hardcore, and aggressive funk all their own.

I haven't had a hardcore band turn my head since the 90's. Until I heard this. This pushes all of those modern hardcore boy bands to the side and shows them how to get down and dirty with the light. Yer Mom
F, I love this whole thing. Fav tracks: DooDoo drone, Mohammad, Sura Sura. But “Running for our lives” is like bad brains “I against “I meets rage meets fishbone. Don’t hesitate buying this Michael Farmer
